DESCRIPTION:
Citrus Oil is obtained from the fruits of citrus tree via cold press method ( same process followed to extract olive oil). The extracted substance is not oil, although the word ‘oil’ has been used for its extraction technique. The obtained oil is basically aromatic and flavored compound present in the fruits of citrus tree.
CONSTITUENTS:
The obtained citrus compound contains higher amount of limonene, sesquiterpenes and terpenes. The element limonene is made of 95% orange and 60% lemon and these proportions depend on the geographic location and variety of citrus fruits.

Citrus Essential Oil has distinctive pleasant, fruity and citrus smell that resembles to the warm aroma of spice and flower extracted oils.
BLENDS WITH:
This oil mixes with different sorts of citrus essential oils, spice oils and coniferous oils. It is compatible with other essential oils of Atlas Cedar wood, Patchouli, Neroli, Peppermint and Lavender.
SCIENTIFIC NAME:
The scientific names of this oil are C. limonum and Citrus limon.
USES:
Known for its high therapeutic value, this oil is effective in treating rheumatism, animea, bacterial infections and flatulence. Citrus Oil also possesses anti bacterial, antiseptic and anti sclerotic properties.
