The Bergamot tree can grow up to four meters high, with star-shaped flowers, and smooth leaves, bearing citrus fruit resembling a cross between an orange and a grapefruit, but in a pear shape.This oil is obtained from the peel of fresh organic bergamot. Our essential oil does not contain added thickeners, sugars, salt, colors, flavors, preservatives or other additives of any kind. The essential oil is popular in aromatherapy applications, and commonly used in spas and wellness centers. The name Bergamot is derived from the city Bergamo in Lombardy where the oil was first sold.
