Description
DESCRIPTION:
The name cardamom is used for herbs within two genera of the ginger family Zingiberaceae, namely Elettaria and Amomum. Its seedpod are triangular in with a thin papery outer shell and small black seeds. The seeds are distilled to product essential oil.
CONSTITUENTS:
limonene (8%), menthone (6%), b-phellandrene (3%), a-terpineol (45%), myrcene (27%), 1,8-cineol (2%), sabinene (2%), and smaller amounts of heptane.

A top note with a strong aroma, Cardamom Essential Oil is sweet, spicy.
BLENDS WITH:
cinnamon, cloves, caraway and cedarwood, Rose, orange, bergamot.
COMMON NAMES:
Elettaria and Amomum.
USES:
Cardomom seed oil is used as a flavoring agent in both food and drink, as cooking spices and as a medicine also due to its herbal properties. Further, it is also a well-known remedy for impotence & low sexual response.
